Professional® and ASISCorporateSecurity Enterprise® are Year
2000 compliant commercially-available application software products
that:
- Correctly store, retrieve, recognise, and
present all dates including the centuries in which they occur in
the format of dd/mm/ccyy (Australia) or mm/dd/ccyy (USA). It will
ONLY accept manual data entry in date fields in this format.
- Correctly process all dates and date-related
data including, without limitation; comparing, sequencing,
calculating, and executing functions commencing or ending on a
particular date or dealing with periods.
- Correctly process all dates and date-related
data irrespective of whether the dates are before 31 December 1999
and whether or not the dates processed occur before or after
January 2000.
- Correctly recognise leap years and non-leap
years.
- Correctly deal with the transaction from 31
December 1999 to 1 January 2000.
ASIS represents and
warrants that the software is, in its current commercial functional
configuration, and will continue to be when modified (new releases):
- Year 2000 compliant,
- Designed to remain Year 2000 compliant, and
- Subjected to comprehensive testing to ensure it
is Year 2000 compliant. As market-ready products, comprehensive
testing has been carried out to validate our existing client base.
This testing has been carried out on Microsoft Windows 95, Windows
98,Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP desk tops operating on
either LAN's and/or WAN's.
